We boarded from the blue ice and snow of North Carolina and reemerged into the warm tropical colors of Old San Juan. Our weather-inflicted departure delay cost us a full day in the Puerto Rican capital - a day I'd have spent roaming its historic brick streets and filling an SD card - but we managed to salvage an evening to wander and reset our thermostats in this beautiful city before moving on to the smaller islands.
Shorts and sandals sure felt good after such a long winter wait.

Absolutely fantastic pictures!
Thanks Juan. It's a fantastic place.
Some great shots, Mike. Love all of the vibrant colors.
The hues used in tropical architecture always make me smile, Justin. And Old San Juan really pops.
