On the Tracks

On my way to Trestle Pool
To fish the falling waters
Tramping down these well-worn rails
Towards another Smith River skunking

Fish or no
It's good to be out here again

  9. Love this recent series of poems. I'm not a poetry person but lately this form has been tugging at me. Maybe I just had to write enough so that the words have begun to run out and all that's left is the meaning.
